Burnt Slag versus Burnt Residue
The current Materials terminology uses Burnt Residue and Residue. Slag, Burnt Slag, Kinetic Slag Press and Spore belong to older Demo-era wording, so the page uses Burnt Residue in its headings while retaining Burnt Slag as the search keyword.
How Burnt Residue is made
The collected official sources support two routes: a Flamethrower can burn Residue, and a Lava-based automated burner can expose Residue to heat. Exact yield or conversion rates are not included here unless confirmed by the current official source.
What happens next
Burnt Residue is an input for the Kinetic Press. The current Kinetic Press page documents the Gold and Seed output relationship; use that page for the machine’s drop-height and clogging rules rather than duplicating them here.
