Sandustry Flux Guide

Sandustry Flux guide: the official name is Fluxite. Learn its upgrade role, natural underground source and later Flux Emanator route for progression.

QUICK ANSWER

“Flux” in Sandustry is officially called Fluxite. It is used for upgrades to tools, weapons and drones; early deposits generate underground, while later Research unlocks the Flux Emanator to convert Voidbloom into Fluxite.

What Fluxite is used for

Fluxite is a material and progression currency tied to Upgrades. Use it to improve tools, weapons, and drones. Choose the upgrade that removes the bottleneck in your current factory or expedition first.

Where to find Fluxite

Early in the game, Fluxite can be found as small natural deposits underground. The source describes these deposits as limited rather than presenting a guaranteed route or exact amount.

How the Flux Emanator changes the loop

Later progression can unlock the Flux Emanator through Research. Voidbloom becomes Fluxite through this renewable route, giving an established factory another source for upgrades.
