How to break Sandustry Crackstone
First, stop using the Shovel or regular Gun: the confirmed Crackstone rule is that neither tool damages its 1 HP. Research an advanced digging tool instead. The clearest confirmed route is the Tier 4 Rocket Launcher, which costs 2,000 Gold and is explicitly listed as able to destroy Crackstone.
Once the barrier breaks, do not wait for ore to appear. Crackstone yields nothing by design; the reward is the newly opened area.
Sandustry Crackstone uses and progression chain
Crackstone does not enter a normal factory recipe. Its real chain is Gold and factory progression into Research, then an advanced digging tool, then a blocked exploration route.
